as you can see this is our first interview, and I’ve decided to interview today one of my best friends it’s Nwangene Theodore, he’s from Nigeria in africa, he is a smart lad who works hard to make ends meet and he is actually succeding in this, however he’s not making huge money but I am sure if he keeps working in that way , he might be earning more and more  in the near future.

I really get along with Nwangene Theodore, well engaging and making relationships with other bloggers is really rewarding for you and your blog, and Nwangene and I always exchange our ideas, whenever I publish a  new post on my blog, he is always there to give me suggestions and I do quite the same for him, I think this is what blogging is all about  isn’t guys?  😉

So, let’s go further in this interview, let’s know Nwangene Theodore in a better way 😀

1. when and why you started blogging?

I started blogging on the 1st day of March 2012. Before i even heard about the word blogging, I’ve heard a lot about the work from home jobs and Ialso attended so many seminars and purchased many information products on that regard.

But at the end of the day, it all ended up being some piece of trash. I lost everything i invested into those hypes. All these was when I was still in collage then, when i gained admission into the university, I started hearing about blogging and wordpress but, the problem was that I never knew what exactly they are.

I then started researching to get more information about the subject and that was when I came across Andrew Rondeau ebook titled (Income Blogging Guide). This was the book that tought me most of the things I know today about blogging and i used it to create my first blog.

After i learned all i needed to know about making money online, i decided to create a blog whereby i will share my experience with others and then, tell people the real truth about making money from the internet and that was how i registered the domain… Topbloggingcoach.com, i think the domain has already said it all :). But one thing i learnt and can’t forget was a quote by Henry Ford. He defined Insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different result 🙂 therefore, i started getting good results when i changed the way i was doing things.

2. What you do for marketing your blog?

The only thing i do to market my blog is simply by building relationship with other bloggers, getting them to know me and what i do that way, they will also help to promote me.

3. How do you drive traffic to your blog?

There are many ways to drive traffic to a site which is everywhere on the internet. I’ve tried a lot of them in the past but, the most effective traffic generation method that I’ve used are… Blog commenting, Social media, Guest posting, Getting involved with some online communities like Bizsuger, Blokube, Tagza, Inbound and blog interest.

I also have some knowledge of SEO and that has also impacted my traffic positively. But you know what they say that what works for you might not work for the other person so, its all about discovering what works for you and then going by it :).

4. How much money you earn from your blog?

To be honest with you, my monthly income is not yet that huge but, I must tell you that It’s rising gradually and I’m happy with that. For now, I’m making at least $200/month and thats from the little freelance services i offers to people.

However, i have a huge plan for my blog. I will soon get serious with affiliate marketing then, i will also be doing some ebook/kindle publishing. I’m still mapping out my blans though but, I plan to take my blog to at least $1000/month before the year runs out.
